A Little Bit About Colleen and The Streets of Gold Run
A “Streets of Gold” 5K Run and 1 Mile fun run walk is being held in Prague OK in honor and celebration of the life of Colleen Cleveland, a young lady who had a passion and love for running. Colleen died unexpectedly in 2009.
Colleen was loved by all who knew her and she was very active in the community of Prague, especially in 4-H, FFA, First Baptist Church, and the Kiwanis Club. Colleen had many interests including going to the lake, scuba diving, knitting, traveling, working with the Kolache Association, running, & motorcycle riding. Colleen loved young children and she was instrumental in implementing and running several reading and educational programs in the Prague Elementary School. Colleen was a former school teacher and had a passion for education. This year’s run proceeds will go to the Colleen Cleveland scholarship fund that is set up by the Kiwanis Club.
